Rachel Veal’s one of our local experts on vegetable and edible gardening, and on Sunday May 17th at 1 she’ll be giving a talk on growing culinary herbs. She wants you to be able to have enough to really cook with, not just have a few as an occasional novelty.
She’ll talk about the usual culinary herb suspects as well as some lesser-known herbs that are worth growing.
The talk will be $10, but the fee will be applied against any plants you buy, so if you go to the workshop, you can go home with some fresh herbs to get you started. Be sure and call Miller Farms Nursery ahead of time to reserve your spot.
